The ICR describes the nature of the information collection and its expected burden. TSA did not receive any comments on the notice. <HD SOURCE="HD1">Comments Invited</HD> In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501 <E T="03">et seq.</E> ), an agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to, a collection of information unless it displays a valid OMB control number. The ICR documentation will be available at <E T="03">https://www.reginfo.gov</E> upon its submission to OMB. Therefore, in preparation for OMB review and approval of the following information collection, TSA is soliciting comments to— (1) Evaluate whether the proposed information requirement is necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the agency, including whether the information will have practical utility; (2) Evaluate the accuracy of the agency's estimate of the burden; (3) Enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and (4) Minimize the burden of the collection of information on those who are to respond, including using appropriate automated, electronic, mechanical, or other technological collection techniques or other forms of information technology. <HD SOURCE="HD1">Information Collection Requirement</HD> <E T="03">Title:</E> TSA Claims Application. <E T="03">Type of Request:</E> Revision of a currently approved collection. <E T="03">OMB Control Number:</E> 1652-0039. <E T="03">Forms(s):</E> Supplemental Information Form, Payment Form and Authorization for Disclosure of Protected Health Information Pursuant to HIPAA. <E T="03">Affected Public:</E> Members of the traveling public who believe they have experienced property loss or damage, a personal injury, or other damages due to the negligent or wrongful act or omission of a TSA employee within their scope of employment, and who decide to seek compensation by filing a federal tort claim against TSA. <E T="03">Abstract:</E> TSA adjudicates tort claims pursuant to the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. 1346(b), 1402(b), 2401(b), 2671-2680). OMB Control Number 1652-0039, TSA Claims Application, allows the agency to collect information from claimants to examine and resolve tort claims against the agency. TSA receives approximately 750 tort claims per month arising from airport screening activities, motor vehicle accidents, and employee loss, among others. Because TSA requires further clarifying information, claimants are asked to complete a Supplemental Information page added to the SF-95. TSA is revising the collection to include TSA Form 600, <E T="03">Authorization for Disclosure of Protected Health Information Pursuant to HIPAA.</E> If TSA requires information protected by Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) in order to fully adjudicate a claim, claimants are asked to complete TSA Form 600 to provide TSA with the claimant's: (1) name, (2) date of birth, (3) social security number, (4) address, (5) a description of the information to be disclosed, and (6) signature. <E T="03">Estimated Number of Respondents:</E> 7,500. <E T="03">Estimated Annual Burden Hours:</E> 3,900. <SIG> <DATED>Dated: December 11, 2024.</DATED> <NAME>Christina A.
