The proposed rule invited the public to submit written comments beginning on the proposed rule publication date and ending on Thursday, July 3, 2025. In response to requests for an extension of the comment period, OPM is extending the comment period to Friday, July 18, 2025. </SUM> <EFFDATE> <HD SOURCE="HED">DATES:</HD> The public comment period for this action, published on June 3, 2025 (90 FR 23467), is extended.
