<NOTICE> DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY <SUBAGY>Federal Energy Regulatory Commission</SUBAGY> <DEPDOC>[Project No. 14797-001]</DEPDOC> <SUBJECT>California Department of Water Resources; Notice of Availability of Environmental Assessment</SUBJECT> In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (Commission) regulations, 18 CFR part 380, the Office of Energy Projects has reviewed the application for a new license to continue to operate and maintain the Devil Canyon Project No. 14797. The project is located on the East Branch of the California Aqueduct, in San Bernardino County, California. The project occupies 220.98 acres of federal lands administered by the U.S. Forest Service, as part of the San Bernardino National Forest.
