The petitioner additionally seeks relief from the discretionary issuance process by which the Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM) provides special issuances of medical certificates under 14 CFR 67.401. The petitioner requests a formal grant of regulatory exemption for the purpose of formalizing eligibility requirements.
