This action is being taken to provide for the safety of life and property on the Maumee River during the event. The regulation for reoccurring marine events within Sector Detroit Marine Safety Unit Toledo, Table 1 to § 165.941, item 51, specifies the location of the regulated area for the event. During the enforcement period, no person or vessel may enter the safety zone without permission of the Captain of the Port Detroit or an on-scene representative.
