<NOTICE> DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY <SUBAGY>Federal Energy Regulatory Commission</SUBAGY> <DEPDOC>[Project No. 5000-078]</DEPDOC> <SUBJECT>Ampersand Kayuta Lake Hydro LLC; Notice of Availability of Environmental Assessment</SUBJECT> The EA contains Commission staff's analysis of the potential environmental effects of the proposed surrender and decommissioning of the project, alternatives to the proposed action, and concludes that the proposed surrender would not constitute a major federal action that would significantly affect the quality of the human environment.
