In accordance with regulations implementing the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) as amended, notification is hereby given that NMFS has issued an incidental harassment authorization (IHA) to NOAA Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) for authorization to take marine mammals incidental to the research vessel relocation project at Naval Station (NAVSTA) Newport, Rhode Island.
